PROJECTS

Operation G.R.A.C.E

Is an animal food bank program that we provide to help pet owners who may be experiencing one or many of life’s unexpected events. Whether it be due to someone getting ill, losing a job, or just going through a rough patch in life. Through this program we can provide temporary assistance to the pet owner by giving pet supplies such as food, bedding, litter, etc.

There is a simple application that needs to be filled out for our record keeping purposes. However, upon approval we can achieve our goal of helping you to keep your family together.

Feral Cat Assistance | TNR

A program designed to stabilize and help maintain feral cat colonies. We provide the community a TNR (Trap, Neuter & Release) program, we also help designate a care-taker to maintain the colony; and supply the care-taker with food and shelter (feral cat houses). The cats that are put through this program are spayed or neutered, ear tipped, flea treated and given a rabies vaccine before being released back to the location. We try not to relocate these animals. Relocation is only performed if the cats are in danger; examples of such situations are: demolished territories, safety issues and no food sources. We assist in this process through donations towards their vet costs. We are also a part of Alley Cat Allies Feral Friends Network. http://www.alleycat.org/

Sponsor Program

Want to help an animal, but can't adopt or foster? Consider sponsoring an animal.

Sponsor Option #1:

You can sponsor the care of one of our adoptable pets that is in foster care. This is a monthly donation to cover the cost of food and litter for the pet you wish to sponsor, until that pet is adopted.

Sponsor Option #2:

Sponsor the spay/neuter and vaccinations of a pet in need. This is a one time donation of $60, which covers surgery, rabies and distemper vaccinations.

Contact us today if you would like to participate in our sponsor program.

Responsible Pet Ownership & Education

This is a service we have created for issues some pet owners may come across, such as training, barking, fleas, chewing and other behavioral problems. We are willing to work with you and help you accomplish a better understanding; and way to find a solution to your problem. If you are having problems such as the ones listed above or are at your wits end and feel like you do not know where to turn to get help. Our goal is to keep your family together.

Animal Advocacy

Our group is very dedicated and determined to help animals in any way that we can. We have supported many causes;  such as Puppy Mill Awareness, Anti-dog Fighting, Stopping Breed Specific Legislation, Stopping the sale of pets in stores and others. We want you to know what’s going on in your community, and we work hard to bring you information regarding the animal issues that are out there. We want our community to be informed and educated on how to handle situations, and how to prevent these things from happening. Animal advocating is not just for animal lovers it is for everyone.

If you have any information regarding an animal situation that you, or someone you know may need assistance with; please notify us; we will help out any way we can. That is what we are here for.

Transportation for Veterinary Services

It can be hard to keep vet appointments if you do not drive or have to rely on public transportation in order to get from place to place. The safety and well-being of your pet is important to us and we want to help. Through this service we have volunteers on standby to transport you and your pet to and from your vet appointment for a small fee. The fee is based on the distance to your vet.

About transportation services:
Because we are a non profit organization, we require a fee for any type of transportation (i.e. Vet Visits, Food delivery, cat transport, etc) The fee will be based upon distance. We do this to cover the cost of gas.

Any donations towards vehicle maintenance are needed and much appreciated!
